This is the Winston Churchill quote that basically sums up the heart of liberalism and conservatism. When I was in high school I always thought being a liberal was the cooler of the two ideologies. Being a conservative was a drag. Just a bunch of boring rich people or some ultra religious nuts who wanted to force their will on everyone. When I graduated high school and got out into the workforce, the things my conservative parents used to say began to resonate. I had been such and idiot as far as politics went. In fact, I had been an idiot in pretty much every aspect of my life, but the political side is what I’m here to discuss.
I began to see that liberalism is based on a game of shadows. In order for them to operate, they needed people to believe their lies that had been driven into people’s skulls for decades. The biggest lie that resonates in the useful idiots on the left, is that they are open-minded and accepting of every race, lifestyle & religion (Except of course for Christianity, because Christians are too intolerant as compared to those tolerant Muslims). The main point that is presented is that minorities, gays and lesbians are accepted with open arms into the Democrat party. That is just another flat-out lie.
You see, the first thing that doesn’t add up is that most minorities don’t accept gays and lesbians. Let’s look at the California gay marriage being voted down a few years ago. It is clear that California is one of the most liberal states in the country and if liberals supported gays then it should have been passed here without a problem. But, Hispanics and Blacks who have strong Christian values voted gay marriage down by a large margin. Afterward the gay rights groups attacked white churches, but they should have been attacking black and Hispanic churches. But that would make them seem racist and they can’t have that. I should also mention that liberals are very supportive of Muslims, including Palestine in their fight against Israel. Well, Israel is a very open-minded state and accepts gays with open arms, yet Palestine murders their homosexuals who are unfortunate enough to get caught in the act.
Remember how so many thought that Obama would legalize marijuana when he was elected president? In fact, he had many town hall meeting that included questions over the internet and a large majority of these questions were about marijuana and what he was going to do to either decriminalize or legalize it. He even made a comment about how many people were asking about this. In fact, he basically made fun of all of the poor little potheads and said that he didn’t understand why everyone thought he was going to be legalizing marijuana, or something along those lines. Well, Mr. President, you are supposed to be the open-minded liberal who has no problem letting people decide what to put into their own bodies. Instead, he has been a major force in closing medical marijuana dispensaries. Why, you ask, has he been closing these dispensaries down when people who are suffering benefit from medicinal marijuana in the states voted to legalize them? Well, I would pin this on two factors. Number one, the drug companies despise medical marijuana because it takes away from their billion dollar industry. Number two, you’ll have to revisit those pesky Christian minorities who seem to run Obama. George Bush never seemed to have a problem with medical marijuana at all, but he was a closed-minded conservative.
Minorities, especially blacks, have been nailed down by the Democrat party since Obama came into play. It is purely a racist thing since they voted for him almost 100%, but I won’t begrudge them voting for the first black president. Now, after they all see what he has done to the country, they still give him their support and call conservatives racist for pointing out his failures. Of course it was acceptable to point out Bush’s failures, even if they were mostly manufactured. Putting aside that the Democrats are the party of slavery and the KKK, and Republicans freed the slaves and overwhelmingly supported Civil Rights, it goes way beyond the Democrat’s racist history. Blacks are being held back by social welfare. It is so easy to get hand outs that it makes no sense for most not to. Sometimes you can make more on unemployment than you can while you’re working. Once you fall into the welfare system and give up, you are basically a slave to the government. The hypocrisy of racism runs so deep that when Republican Trent Lott said some nice things about Strom Thurman, who in truth was an old racist who claimed he reformed, he was shouted out of politics completely. When Robert Byrd, a former KKK leader who claimed he was reformed, died a few years ago, the Democrats, even Obama, praised him as a great man. We heard nothing from the media. No calls for anyone who praised him to resign. No nothing. Hypocrisy.
Recently, a thing the Democrats call the Republican’s “War on Women” based on a few anti-abortion bills, Santorum’s comments about how he doesn’t believe in contraceptives, and Rush Limbaugh making sexist remarks. There have been repeated calls for Rush to get kicked off the air and the liberals have blackmailed and boycotted his advertisers, just like they did to the companies who didn‘t support the unions in Wisconsin. Of course, Bill Maher calling Palin a cunt, Letterman making jokes about baseball players having sex with Palin’s daughter, Shultz calling Laura Ingraham a slut, and Brown calling Meg Whitman a bitch are just a few examples of acceptable sexism because they are from liberals. Recent attacks on Ann Romney being a stay at home mom were written off by the main stream media. It’s true that a lot of conservatives believe in Pro-Life. I don’t happen to be one of them. I think abortion is disgusting but a woman can do whatever she pleases. She is the one who has to live with it. It is simply ridiculous to call all pro-lifers sexist. People like me who think that women and men should pay for their own contraceptives are just making a valid point. We have much more important things to worry about than supporting your sex life. If you can’t afford a few bucks to buy birth control, then maybe the problem is bigger than a few more hand-outs that are being withheld from you. It’s time to see the big picture.
